Why are links incredibly slow on iOS?

Why are links incredibly slow on iOS? Is this because of the web-browser. Or is this a bug or something that will be fixed?

when I do sololearn links on iOS 14, they just redirect to another place in the SoloLearn app. No browser is involved. how old is your phone?
