Depends on what you want to do and what platform you wanted to perform on. That alone really decides the language for you. Looking at the tags you decided to post, I would say find something that interests you whether in web development, Desktop applications or even mobile development. If you look at that instead of trying to create an awesome project so early you won't be intimidated by your Initial decision.
