To say it simply, subscripted text means text that will show lower than the regular words in a line. Again, superscripted text means text that will show higher than the regular words in a line. 😀

their differences is not that much they do the same.but, subscript acts as base. superscript act as power.

Script means written characters Sub means: subsidiary, under, beneath, below. Super means: high, above expectation Combination of these gives you the meaning of super/subscript That is Subscripts appear at or below the baseline, while superscripts are above.

Basicall they are used for mathematical equations/formaulae. Superscript is used for power while subscript is used for base. I hope this helps
