can i use html on novels?

you know these novels with some choices and others called "visual novels",yep so my question can i use html to alter my character text or some text?

It's actually possible. There are lots of pure HTML text-based adventure games, but you have to work around a few things.

Let's say that your visual novel provides choice selection, you might have to do that using links, which means that your entire VN would consist of multiple HTML documents. Every single frame switch may require you to click to go to another document. Your VN may also look really basic since you don't plan on using CSS (?), but at this point that's probably the least of your concerns.

So yeah, technically it's possible, just tedious. I actually want to do it, but I'm too lazy to.

Yup you need the so called web trinity.

You need javascript for that because it brings logic go HTML page. If you want html page to look more beautiful you need CSS
