What inspires you to be a programmer?

The word programmer sounds so cool but behind the scenes there is also a lots of boredom , challenge and the self discipline requires . so tell us what inspires you to be on the track no matter what it takes .

I started programming over a decade ago, and what drew me to it was the god-like feeling it provides. Anything you can imagine you can realize with programming, there are no limits, and the machine does not question you or give you wrong answers, it does exactly what you say logically. Kinda deep but it grounds you in reality when you understand that the reason the machine does exactly what you say is because the laws of physics and mathematics are tangible.

I like programming a lot and this is what I want to do far living. It is true that if you wanna be a very good programmer you have to work hard and code all day long, but I am lazy and I don't do that. I am at the beginning and I belive they is not that hard (exempt for the algorithms, witch you have to use a lot to understand). However if you like it enough you are going to be good at it, but you can't never say that you are good enough. There will always be a better person who works harder and knows more. For me, it is the thirst for knowledge, the need to be the best, the fact that your work will help a lot of people around the world and that you might be the first to do something. If you really like it you should keep coding no matter what the others say or know, your age or your studies.

Being able to program robots and such things. I am fascinated by something preprogrammed doing its job. It is just really cool to watch things like that work. And it's basically learning a new language. :)

I started learning, 3 years ago now. I was knowing nothing about code. I started with Java. After 3 weeks writing on paper all i was trying to learn, i stopped cause my head was burning. I realized that there were bases, HTML, CSS, javascript, so I challenged myself and restarted from zero and that's for sure the best thing i have ever done. My inspiration came from white magic and gardening. I was a gardener when I started learning white magic and... code. That's definitely schizophrenic I know, but that's my own way. ^^

I love programming because i have realized that programming is like that powerful Invention that can produce various new Inventions. If one know how to program well then he can create something big to make the world a better place. I don't know if you've seen the Tv show RICHIE RICH, but one episode of that show reminds me of the beauty of the "Programming". In that episode there was a scientist who was privately working for richie rich, and one day he invented a machine which was capable of producing various gadgets on its own! In our case, programming doesn't yield a good website, app or any other thing automatically but its the very basic block. and we are the scientists :) Hope you got my point.
