Is there any step by step procedure to develop any application or game ?

I just finished my C# course and now I want test my skills by developing any small app or game ... But I get confused where to start ...

Maybe you can remake a simple game or app you like. Something like 2048 or a Todo-list app e.g.

Well, I rather meant that you make yourself a new app from scratch, but reading the code of already existing apps isn't a bad idea either.
But for the beginning I'd just start with my own project. If you encounter problems you can always look up how others solved that issue :)
