if your are using the web(pc) go on paint application and resize your image by pressing Ctrl+W and input your desired widths and it also depends on the internet connection you're using👍

Because image size is too big. I am on mobile phone and it's loading slow on 3G. Try to resize and optimize images. P.S. Alert with upvote it's a bad idea ;)

Because images are stored as pixels which are two 2D array of gray scales. It will take time to load

First of all, the images are loaded from the CSS file, instead of a direct load from the HTML file (img, figure, embed or iframe tags). Even if the images are stored on the server (which takes less time to load and avoids connection problems), you should always optimize them. This last one might be your main problem, but calling media (stored on the server) directly from the html would also gift you some speed and lightness.

I think it took a long time^ because there was so much CSS ^it took 1.5 - 2.0 seconds to load on my device, you could also have slow internet.

Because the image size is high, you have to lower the image size with programs like Photoshop or paint
