New programmer here

Question

Hey guys, I currently work as a technical engineer and am moving slowly into development as a personal interest just looking to engage with people and wonder what steps they took to learn.

I’m personally learning C# as it kind of fits with everything I want to do if there is anyone learning C# or is a professional programmer I would love to hear any ideas or tips or practical projects I can use and learn.
