Can I ask questions related to SFML?

Question

Is the c++ library, sfml familar to c++ programers? I have looked into the forums, and I found it was little mentioned.Therefore, can I ask about sfml here?thanks.
p.s. should i even use sfml in the first place?it looks good but will i become too dependant?

go for it! I am using SDL atm. I dont think you will become dependant. It will just make life much easier for you! I have heard that SFML is more beginner friendly. There is lots and lots of learning resources out there for you to get started.
