Diference between Java and JavaScript?

JavaScript brings functionality to CSS and HTML. Java is a programming language that is often used to make apps and programs. They're only similar in name, JavaScript stole the name from Java so they could become more popular.

Yes JavaScript is better for web design. Not sure if you could even use Java for web other than backend.

If you're looking to only design on the web, don't worry about Java. I just recommend you learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But if you're looking to make apps Java is good. I wish you luck.

I learn HTML and CSS here and on Code Academy (It's amazing!). well, I trying to learn about all, but more specific I will learn about web design, because i'm a G.D a nd I need know that!!(´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)

JS has more web-based applications, whereas java can be applied in other ways (robotics, FRC, etc.)
