Im on my laptop now do i need to connect to the internet to practice my html lectures or how ??

To 'practice' using html (or javascript) the only thing you need really is 'notepad' or some kind of text editor. Just save your file with a html extension and it will open using your default browser.
My html codes in my profile (just messing about years ago) were done on notepad, they're not brilliant...but they do what I was looking to do.
