if I reset progress on a course/lesson will it affect my XP?

I want to try to make some of my course grades a little better but I don't know if it will reduce my overall XP when I do it.

It will null all your xp for the language, including challenge xp.

OK. So if I haven't completed any Challenges with that language then it won't affect my Xp then.
