When learning html, you mainly have to remember the different tags and how they combine. You also have to learn about attributes such as class and id and attributes associated with each tag.

There are more css properties to learn than html tags. Properties affect things such as width height text and colors. For good and responsive design you need to learn about the box model among other concepts.
