Is posting solve to the code coach problems allowed?
I saw several codes with the solve of code coach problems. And they just post these codes for up votes. Isn't this illegal? I mean, is this allowed on solo learn? If someone uses these codes to solve their ones?

Officially there has not been a statement as yet on whether they should be allowed. Until there is, we mods assume it is fine though why anyone would give others the results of their hard work is beyond me.

I'll make a guess:
'There is no regulation for this.'
Excited to hear what the moderation will say. 😉

Maybe it's allowed but I don't think it's a good idea.
And it's not very clever to copy those codes for a few XPs!
Especially those who have difficulties in solving the tasks will learn nothing if they just recycle these codes to get the XPs!
Apart from that, it's only fun if you solve the tasks yourself, right?

Isvander, consider what will *really* happen, though:
People will ignore the comments and copypaste the solutions for easy xp.

HonFu and sorry i must be new here, so is there any wrong with getting easy exp here? Is there some privilege with having higher level?
edit : i see...

Well, as a wise grown-up, you may say, the whole xp business is nonsense anyway.
But young people do get distracted by it. They start to see xp as an actual accomplishment and go for that instead of actual skill.
I think it is bad already with all the badges and the challenges; now we've created another tool to be exploited for this.
New people coming here look at your level, and if you have a high level, they think you know stuff.
I can't count how often I have been PM'ed, addressed with sir, and asked stuff I have not the slightest idea about, because clearly I'm a pro, being level 16.
I agree so far that it's inevitable:
Sooner or later the solutions will be out there and everybody will do it.
However, I consider it reasonable to slow down this process as much as possible.

Isvander XP are for fun! You can get as much XP as you want...I don't care.
But how do you think posting the solutions might help anyone?
These CCC are meant as exercises.
And if you solve them yourself, there's at least a chance to learn something.
If somebody needs help, he can ask for it by showing his attempt in the Q&A section.
There's so much you can post to present yourself or to get upvotes or whatever your motivation may be.
Why spoiling everything...?

No plaintiff, no judge - no executioner?
Just because it's possible it doesn't have to be a good idea.
Is it advisable to drive too fast just because nobody controls?
Maybe you should just do the right thing because it is right instead of rejoicing that you will not be punished.

Sorry Isvander ,
I just wanted to say that we all are responsible for what we do, even if there's no judge.
In the end we all decide how Sololearn will look like.
I prefer constructiveness over cheating and short-term cheers at the expense of others!

I would say its legal and even good if they giving some explanation comment about their code, wise coder should think about others too ☺️

HonFu well it's happen on the other platform too so its not that big deal in my opinion

Crash I do agree that is the best way to learn, but now the system has such flaw or so, so i would say it might help anyone (even the copypaster) if it *came* with proper code explanation, i don't want to ruin our *fun* too tho 😅

Isvander This is not a flaw, but an advance of trust...
