Impossible to reach "Solutiun Guru" Badge for non-premium users?

Question

Sololearn recently added the (as i think: awesome) "Code Coach" functionality with corresponding Badges. One of them is the "Solutiun Guru" Badge given for 50 solved challenges. Since at the moment only 25 are available for non-premium users my quesition is:

Is it it intended to degrade non-premium users by making it impossible for them to reach a badge - or - will more Code-Coach-challenges soon be available for normal users?

By the way:
Do only i think that some of the Code-Coach-challenges should be degraded because they are too easy for their rating? :)

Summary:
- For now it is impossible to reach "Solutiun Guru" Badge for non-premium users.
- xp and badges are not what you should be hunting for, use the plattform to improve your skills.
- If you do not want to pay for premium but want to solve more Code-Coach-like challenges search online for 'coding interview questions'.
- Some tasks do seem too trivial for their rating.
- The "Solutiun Guru" badge is even for experienced challenge-stormers worth 3-4 days of work.

Not only do you get it only if you go pro, you also get a whopping 5.000 xp. Hugest badge ever, isn't it? (Haven't really checked.)

On the other hand, is this number even big for a challenge stormer? I have no idea...

Well definitely they want you to go pro, setting it up like this.

Although there are a few other badges you can't well controlledly achieve: Certified tester, Quiz reviewer, Moderator and that stuff.

Popular question also seems hard to achieve now, right?

So just for one more badge I probably won't get, I wouldn't buy pro personally.

Yeah, the xp are sometimes funny, given the difficulty.

Some codes are like two lines, even in C. You can hardly call that a task.

One will have to see, where the development goes, if they keep it up, if more and good tasks will be added consistently over time.

Actually the challenges are what I was referring to as the nonsensical activities.

Not initially, when you just start with them, they can profit you.

But there comes a point where you know them all, or most of them, and then it becomes a futile practice.

However, you get 5 xp every time you don't lose a challenge, infinitely, and since this is the ONLY way of getting beyond level 16, it has become sort of a sport here.

It is as meaningful and beneficial as reciting the same children rhyme a million times, or folding the same paper hat over and over.

5000 xp is 1000 5-5 draws.
For me a challenge takes about 30 secs, I dunno about challenge stormers times.
1000*30 = 30,000 seconds
30,000 secs is over 8 hours of challenging.HonFu Tim L.
But Prom had a streak previously of 100 days of 1K xp and he sometimes gets over 2K in a day.
So for a challenge stormer its about 3-4 days of challenges.

The xp system doesn't serve as any means of comparison anyway, since you can accumulate xp infinitely by performing nonsensical activities, which sololearners are making plenty use of.

For now the 50 is impossible for non-pro users. Sololearn may release more code coach problems over time, but for now at least, there are only 25 free challenges. It could possibly be to convince users to pay for PRO, but it's not really that big of a deal. All a badge is is a bit of XP and a virtual image on your profile.

Yes, a good amaunt of them are oneliners in Python, free xp for everyone! :)

Yeah, I hope for more free tasks, maybe the community gets the possibility to create some - just like normal challenges.

A little dramatic to use the word degrade.

They have to profit somehow!

And they have deals too. My sub was 50% off because of their christmas special and some people got rest of subscription free because of the contest.

Also, its just a little badge. It doesnt prove you know any better than anyone else. And the 5000xp will go down fast if you don’t know how to code. I think im level 13. But I lose challenges all the time. Because I’m here to learn and reinforce my knowledge. (Its good before coding interviews too!)

I think a more productive approach is to use google and search common interview questions, which btw is exactly what code coach is, they are just common interview questions. Copy and paste it from google and practice on this app. (The titles of the questions are the same on google for the most part)

Regarding the Badge and the level:

Intuitivly I would say one should be able to compare accounts by their level.
But thinking about it I have to agree that this does not appy on this plattform, hence an uneven distribution of xp between PRO and normal users is nonrelevant.

Good to know, I thought xp is only given for Badges, 'learning', challenges and now Code-Coach-challenges.
