krishna it depends on what you're aimed to do in future. If you have set any goal regarding your future than according to that you can work and go on with practicing in programming language.
If you want to be an Android developer then java is the first step to opt and learn.

How you have experienced and enjoy working with java programming?
Does java is your comfert zone when solving different programming riddles and you are aware of basics syntax of Java and can go further in java for making projects ??
If these questions answeres in positive ways and you are aimed and comfertable with working and projects building with Java then you can continue that with regards with your goal.
If the basics is too confusing for you of Java language and you have no goal to be an Android developer and want to go in other fields of programming than you can go

i learn python when i just started, its much easier to understand the concepts and simpler compared to java. if you start with a complex language like java instantly u might not understand and get demotivated to code.
help yourself and try python first.
