What is good practice of using article and section for SEO?

During learning one of the lesson of html5 on article tag, I found peoples saying that i can use article inside section or section inside article, according to them both the ways are correct.

But how, in my opinion, the article tag is itself divides the webpage or document in section separate from all other content in page.

Then what is the need of using article tags inside section tag. It looks more better use of section tag, if used under article tag/aside tag to divide it in sections.

Then what is correct practice of using these two tags???

Section is used to divide the page into blocks. It is the replacement of div. Article is used to describe a self-contained part of the page like a post or comment. An article can and is likely to be in a section. A section can also be in an article.
