By learning C first, u can become acclimated to the procedural side of the language and then learn object-oriented programming through C++. C++ is more complicated than C and can be overwhelming for a beginner.

In my opinion, if you know c and object oriented programming (e.g. Java) then c++ will be a piece of cake for you. If you know only c, for sure c++ will be easier. So yes, I suggest you to learn firstly c but this doesn't mean that it's impossible other way around.

It depends on your choice..... but if you could start in C++ and would expertise in it then c language would be already done for you to understand..... even though it would be difficult it would be worth it
