Should someone who is learning code for the first time try taking challenges here?

It isn't really clear what happens in the challenges. Moreover, I wanted to know whether it is sensible to try them even though I haven't actually completed a course

I think it's sensible to first finish the tutorial then write sufficient practice code so that you get a feeling for the language and only then start with challenges.

yeah challenges are great because they help impove and test you knowledge of programming.
But one should finish the course before trying the challenges if they are new to programming.
