Why still using C instead of C++

Question

Heard so much the C is mainly used for OS, middleware and other low level stuff, for its efficiency nearby to the assembly.

What is the point of using C instead of using C++ with C style, its libs, etc.
There is some difference, maybe on compiler level, or non inherited properties between?
