Html 5 can also take a week but to master html5 would take like a week and a half or even two

You can master it in 1 week, for just html, html is not complex but it involves a lot of memorizing

it depends on how much time you can dedicate to learning the program. there is alot of memorizing and practicing but it is easy to learn. 1 - 2 weeks would give you the lef up to provide you with more knowledge than you previously had.

A master never stops learning :-) Look at a html5 framework like bootstrap! Try to use it, understand it, adapt it. Try to write your own based on a "boilerplate". This is not done in a few weeks.

That is purely relative to your own determination and understanding of the syntax. Learn at your own pace and enjoy the experience.

HTML5 is similar to learning HTML4. However, the layout structure is more transparent but more attributes have been introduced so there's more to learn. like Rich said, about 1 to 1/2 to get HTML5.

Of course when you learn html you'll sure jump to another languages, I recommend you Java

In my opinion , if you are new-learner , it is difficult to become master.. And it is very depended on your practice
