[What you should do]
1) don't use too many position absolute, it will be hard for you to manage.
2) use positions on containers.
3) call functions on containers not on lines.

Problem is in your structure and CSS.

When you can k() it also calls the s1() and s2() functions. Which again sets value to flex.
