If your going to code little things it doesnt really matter cuz you wont need much resources, but if your creating and experimenting with IA or NN its a good choice to have a good desktop PC (with a graphics card like a 1060) cuz it will be faster.

I prefer laptop over desktop PC for several reasons:

1. portability
2. portability
3. portability

I cannot stress enough how important it is that you have your machine anywhere you go. You might need it in class. You might need it in different room. Trust me if you don't require crazy specs and and your objective is to only code then you can do all this in any laptop.

But owning a desktop can be seen as economically feasible and can last longer than any laptop. Also upgrading a desktop is also seen as its advantage.

Either of the two. But preferably, use laptop in case you dont have much time staying at home. But you can use Desktop if you dont go to any where.

But get those with high facilities, i mean graphics, high processor, and large space.
