Unique ID for licensing

Question

Hello everybody,

I am looking for a unique id on the PC for a licensing routine. What should or can I take, except hard drive id or MAC, I can not use it in this case ..

UUID would be the best, but sometimes is UUID not setted, so empty ... CPU Id is just as useless ...

Does anyone have an idea what I can use...

Or has someone already (professional) developed a routine who can give me a good tip?
