C++ vs blueprints in Unreal Engine 4

I was lerning C++ (still learning a lot) so i desidet that i need to learn more and more for making games in this engines but one day i saw some tutorial from you tube and i saw that "blueprint" and that guy was making a game even without C++ so the main question is : ARE BLUEPRINTS BATTER THAN C++ And also witch one is easyer. Blueprints are slower than C++. I would use blueprints for: Animating character, UI, quick simple scrips... It's good to know both.
