I just started learning web development! I have finished the html course but still find many difficulties in writing a simple web page...does it need practice or to take more courses?!

Html is for putting content in page if you have completed it keep practicing along with that start css.
Css help you to design your page which will reduce your problem with html .Ideally html is not for designing.
