XXX, according to W3Tech(https://w3techs.com/) "people" are not moving away from it. Also I would like to know why you think PHP lacks security. Security of an application depends more on the developer not the language.

PHP- It is powerful enough to be at the core of the biggest blogging system on the web (WordPress)! It is deep enough to run the largest social network (Facebook)! It is also easy enough to be a beginner's first server-side language! What Can PHP Do? PHP can generate dynamic page content PHP can create, open, read, write, delete, and close files on the server PHP can collect form data PHP can send and receive cookies PHP can add, delete, modify data in your database PHP can be used to control user access PHP can encrypt data

There is no best even though some are better than others. I think PHP is good for beginners since it is fast, popular, easy and in high demand.

Haha it's just that I spend quite some time answering questions and I am always frustrated when someone answers without doing research. But I did the exact same thing today, so I just feel a little embarrased (kind of)😅

PHP & ASP.NET are the best server side programming languages. In which PHP is the best suit for website and ASP.NET is best for desktop application. PHP is easy for begginer.

Ore okay, I apologize. I obviously said that from a what I had heard. Many people say that JavaScript and Python are getting more and more famous because of the frameworks they have and I totally assumed what I just wrote. Thanks for pointing out. (Answer deleted)

Ore you're right. I have done web dev only in Python' Django, that too not professionally and then I switched to Rust (not prefessionally either). The reason I didn't put Rust higher was that it will be quite hard for someone with not much experience in programming. Sorry again.
