How to load subcategories for an ecommerce header for each category?

Question

I'm in the process of developing an ecommerce application using angular9 and express backend and I got struck with the header.
Ecommerce header with categories and subcategories as dropdown.
How to use the get request of categories and subcategories together.
For each category it must get all the subcategories.
Can anyone help me out?
