It is important to learn Java for electronic students

I will say yes you should learn java also if you know c and cpp then you have to Focus on java it will help you in Placement .because interviewer always searching those peoples who have extra knowledge and talented . So if you will learn java it will be your plus point may be mostly electronic student working on embedded programs when they working on compaines which are related to c ,cpp and java languages .

I have learn C and C++ but after that Java is other subject which is cancelled in my syallabus.

You should find the reason. Samiksha Singh I think your faculty know better than others.. If your goal is in your subjective field, stick with your electronic field, then programing languages not much important except your for academics (basics are enough to know and must for academics and placements)... In embedded systems, C knowledge helps you understand it better, for writing codes also. Scope in chip level designings also... But if you want to get into IT field, then you should learn outside a language (of your intreest or choose depends on market demand, c or java or python, i prefer java). They are lot of online sources, you can go through when you have free time.... Hope it helps, all the best....
