Js vs Python,which is more useful in IT?

If you're looking for a job or have an interrest in data scienc/ai python's the way to go but if you want to focus on web/game development or just raw compile speed js should do the trick :) to summarise it's allways depending on your personal "flow"^^

useful in what sense?
If you want to write a script to automate some boring task on your computer like delete all temp folders then python is your best bet. otherwise if you need a script to run on the browser, e.g. copy all links on a page then js is the right choice.
