Direction of the Gradient

syntax have major error please rectify the problem
wrong: background:-moz-linear-gradient(left, blue, green, white);
answer:linear-gradient(to right, red , blue);

I remember I had hat doubt too and after googling I learned i should use to right to left to bottom left like that, its lot easier to understan and write code. Im newbie in CSS so to me its better using "to"
