Ipang , Graddle collects all the missing libraries from internet. And I dont know what it collects under the hood. But if your internet is as slow as mine, you can hit the build button and go to sleep or to shop or to have a dinner. When you come back it will still collecting!!!

you can learn java or kotlin.
any one of them is best,but i device you to learn two java and kotlin to be more power full this really will help you more than you want.
