hello I'm actually pursuing clinical research which requires basic computational skills but my seniors said that if one knows more about coding and all then the better so the thing is what all should I learn if I want to excel in both the fields ? Like I would love to merge both tech with clinical research if possible or AI? but to be honest I have zero knowledge right now and I've just started learning python 3
I'm ready to put effort in it even if I won't get a degree after learning it but I'd like to do it for myself and explore more
please specify the basics that I should learn for technical/industrial/clinical field

That depends on the background and the individual. If you come from a solid mathematical and logical background it will be a lot easier, but Programming can be learned by anybody and with enough knowledge and experience get a job doing it. Nothing is prohibited, especially when it comes to programming with so many free courses on most any language out there.

My answer is definitely no. It is not difficult to for a person who is from non IT background. Every one when learn to start code then he/she don’t know what will be next steps/course to learn. They learn programming gradually.

My suggestion is that you should choose any programming language and start to learn from basic.
