How many were you scared when you started coding?

As the question says, how many were you nervous, scared, and or anxious when you started out coding? And what lied behind that fear? I wanted to know since I saw that fear of coding is common but I never heard it talked about until I googled it. Thought it would be nice to share for moral support and know I'm not the only one who goes through this. For me I gave up learning coding years ago and decided to come back to it again. I'm starting to remember how anxious it can be with deadlines for my coding classes, but I feel more prepared for coding and the environment this time around. Plus I have a fear of failure with failing my coding classes. Trying my best to deal with it by using this app to practice and meditate to deal with my inner critic and imposter syndrome that says I'm a failure.

Fear are common for those works where you have some attemp (failure exist if you have attempted and have some success.) If you don't have any attempt even how could you fail and what is fear of. People either win or learn , they never fail. Try to get what you have learn if not succeed.

You're not alone. Coding is an art and most people get nervous, anxious or excited when they're art is being critiqued and criticized. Over coming fears are not easy and most of us are fearful of being rejected for not being good enough or possibly being labeled an imposter. However, I honestly feel a person's attitude can get them far because attitude is better than aptitude and teaching someone the skills they need is so much easier when they have a great attitude. Failure is going to happen, the important thing is to learn from those failures, don't let your failures define you, and then, fail faster! https://www.ibm.com/garage/method/practices/culture/failing-fast/

If you're afraid of failing then it's more like a general problem than a problem with programming, isn't it?
