Hosting with cpanel

Question

Is cpanel out of dated? Is it good to host node.js app? Any suggestions?

I am stuck trying to host my node.js app from my GitHub repo. I can’t find the right way to connect repo to cpanel. I already generated ssh key and placed in my GitHub account but it always show “permission denied “
