How can i relate the elements of drag-drop in a way that is easy to remember?

I'm having a difficult time understanding and connecting to the elements and attributes used when working with drag-drop. I'm a beginner and just started learning HTML and CSS three days ago. Most of the lessons make sense when I am able to relate the tags to the the end result. An example would be img src which I connect with the source (or url) of the image. Nothing for drag-drop connects in the same way to me.

don't expect to know everything at a go

practice is really needed

thanks, that was a great answer. one of the reasons why I want to learn coding is because there's so much freedom in what to learn and when.Theres no 1-2-3 step to perfect coding and that makes it fun for me. if a little frustrating at times lol
