Angle in Linear Gradient

In Sololearn's CSS tutorial of linear gradient, it is given that 0deg creates a left-to-right-gradient but on https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_gradients.asp , it is written that "A value of 0deg is equivalent to "to top"." And "to top" means "bottom to top". Please clarify which is right one.

After looking at that tutorial and testing it I can say that sololearn lesson on that is wrong if it really says that 0 deg creates left to right , that's why one should learn from various resources .

Don't call me sir, you can email sololearn about this at info@sololearn but I hardly believe they will ,some of their lessons contains wrong or old info but they don't care to update them much but you can still try to mail them about it

Okay sir. Thanks for clearing the doubt. I wanted to ask if they will change that in the lesson so that others won't get confused.
