I need help with getting myself to code
ok so im writing this right after failing a test so my mood is not as great as it should be. I have a bit of free time and so I want to code. But thing is, as soon as I pull up that screen to pick which language, I just give up. Is there a tip to getting yourself to practice when your not in the mood?

😁Well you've got to be passionate to code yeah💖 ,
Trust me it only the passion and love for coding .that will make you come back to it after all the bugs and imposter syndrome that arises with it.
(Remember Always do what u love )
So ask yourself whether you really love what u do , else than this is not the path for you

To be honest i think the most important thing is to focus in a single language, other than trying to grasp multiple at once

I'm learning c++ for 7-8 mouth and i like it. Of course everyone was telling me that its hard and else but i didnt stop.
I even faild a competition i've got 80-s place from 100!
Before i've got 90 i gess...
It was very big shame for me !
But i didnt give up
So the only thing what i want to tell u that: if u want u can do it!

im not a rude person, but people who stay stuff like that ruin peoples day. idc what you think, a single sentence can ruin someones mood, think before you speak.

once again, people have bad days, no matter what you mean, if you are being rude, you are contributing to making their day bad. Thats all im going to say

Ducky, I have only been coding for about 7 months now, I really enjoy it. I think start off with HTML, CSS and JS, they are super easy to learn and promise you'll be fully versed in no time at all.
I really like your profile picture btw, a fun fact is my first ever code was me rick rolling my little brother and some friends. Go have a look at it here https://magicworld.netlify.app/
Maybe you'll see that programming can be fun too, and all the best buddy. Happy coding

Really dude? Don’t go calling other peoples situations, excuses for not doing something. If that were the case, I would be fluent in 5 languages, and coding languages. I would be an athlete, and would be the richest person in the world. Dyslexia, as unimportant as it may seem, extremely makes learning very hard for alot of people, icluding me. Stop thinking about yourself, and think about others situation and how their day might have been going.

I literally specified that im not the only person with dyslexia. Think of it this way, you failed a test, your grades are bad, your teacher is bad, your friends are depressed, nobody is having a good day, so you say “Im going to try to code for a bit”, you try but you have no motive, so you ask a question on the apps Q&A section, but get put down and called out for making excuses for not commiting your life to something. Stress exsists dude, think about others

I don’t think that telling people to get over themselves is really helping

Yea. Its a bad situation. I have Dyslexia and its extremely hard to focus on tests, I spent an hour doing 5 questions to put it into perspective. I really want to master the languages im about to start learning so im studying html to help me. Im about to learn Css and Java and since they are connecting to html, it would probsbly help.

Okay??? Sorry but those just sound like excuses. If you want to do it, you will make time to do it. If not then you won't. Simple as that.

Yup, you can sit at your pity party by yourself. Lots of people have problems. We all deal with them. It's actually insensitive of you to assume that you and you only is dealing with something. Grow up man, then give programming another shot.

Take a step back and get over yourself. You'll live a better life and you might even find the motivation yourself. Have fun (Oh and the irony that you have Rick Astly as your profile picture is insanely funny. He was "never gunna give you up!" but you just give up right away. Might wanna take a page out of HIS book) ;)
