Python Core is basically Python Beginners and Intermediate Python put together. It may go a little more quickly through some topics, but I found the Python Core course to be more densely packed with information, so I don't believe it is lacking.
If you are choosing between them, I recommend Python Core for two reasons:
1) Python Core has tons of really good comments that explain some concepts in more detail.
2) Python Core uses comments to show what the output of their example code will be, so anyone can see it. The new Python courses don't do this, so if you don't have Pro, it just kinda screws you over. It often tells you to 'look at the example to see how it works', but then the example is hidden behind the paywall. (I'm on mobile, I don't know if this experience is true on computers.)
If you want to do the newer Python courses, it might be a good idea to do them on a computer with Python installed and your text editor of choice + command line ready so you can run the code snippets for yourself.
