Getch(), conio.h library in C++
Hello everyone, I have to ask you for help. Is here any substitutions for getch()/getche(), and conio.h library? Thank you for answering.

Ku Ce Typically, we've noticed questions related to Turbo C++ are from Indian college students who are surprised to learn they are using a legacy compiler that's been outdated for over 2 decades, which makes it an ancient relic in software engineering.
However, your profile indicates you're from Ukraine. I'm curious, if a similar trend exists in your country where the curriculum is teaching material that will need to be unlearned in the real world.
Or... perhaps you're asking about this based on reviewing some material that makes reference to these nonstandard libraries.
Thanks for any insight you can share on this.

Ku Ce Ah... That makes sense. That book was probably published in the 90s.
Whew... I was worried there might be some new widespread, prolific emergence of CS graduates entering the software engineering workforce coming out of universities who value teaching Turbo C++.
While it's still unclear why Turbo C++ still seems to be prevalent only from college students from India, it does seem to be contained only within that country.
It's an unfair situation for these students as they'll be entering the workforce at a global competitive disadvantage in terms of skills and capabilities compared to graduates from other parts of the world.
Hopefully, this isn't an overall indication of an old curriculum still reflecting many other outdated industry practices and designs from the same time period.
