First step to learn machine learning

Hi evryone i want to start Learn machine learning and i want know if i can do this with JS lunguage or if i learn python.
I want know Also a roadmap and if somebody can give me a Little and basic repository project to improve my self

You should learn Python first because python have it's own predefined modules for it
Also it will give you basic information about how machine learning works
