Should I learn Python to help me in biological career?

I'm studying biology at university. People say that I should learn new skills to have more chance to get a job. I wonder if Python is the right choice or should I learn something instead?

If you are interested in software development Development then definitely you need to learn. If but you want to learn for fun then learn and move to competitive programing hope this will improve your thinking and logical skills .
