Feeling Anxious as a Programmer
Hi Guys, from the start I learn programming I always feel so affraid that I cant do code or solve a problem. Now I am working as backend dev, I always feeling anxious and nervous my mind always says "can I do this, can I finish this task?" And I always feeling down and feeling inferior seeing someone else code and I always think programming is not for me. Is it normal? Should I continue this career path??

You look like me a few years ago (6 years about). Now all changed, or better, I always can assign a difficulty level to every task. I can estimate almost all times a task and surely, the most important thing, I learnt to respect myself..so through the years you'll feel more confident about yourself. Don't give up :)

How did you even get a job in this field? You obviously are not confident in your ability.
And there will always be people leagues ahead of you in whatever you do.
I don't know if you should keep going, I don't know you dude.

Support is never needed, it's wanted. For some weird phycological reason or another. It in no way effects work preformace unless you decide it to be a factor. Tell yourself what i do, "Just do your job."

You don't need motivation to move on, you just need a mindset
build stuffs that will motivate you no matter what it is.

There are better options than programming. If you don't feel comfortable then you can choose other options.

There is a time when I do enjoy coding, but when the task is too complex and complicated I always feel that I cannot do this.

okay, then as a tech, i can say people want me to do things in a certain amount of time every day. They all get told the same thing: "It'll get done when it gets done." just focus on your work man.

Unfortunately the work environment in my workplace is not that good. I got little to no support since day one! I am working in a government project which is quite huge project there are lot of programmer involved.
