What should you atleast know

whats the bare minimum you should know to be competent(besides the motivation thing) in some of the languages on here

To be honest, to be competent warrants the completion and perfect understanding of the entire tutorial slides, since those are the very basic components of languages.

If you're just starting out, have a good grasp of logic and reasoning, and sufficient knowledge in algebra. Everything else comes with practice.
