There is no such shortcut of doing these things, you have work hard, learn new stuff in coding and code rigorously!!! Then only you will become a good programmer who can write a good and effective program.
Also not every problem can be coded into few lines there are some good questions which takes effort in solving and also has many number of lines.
So, don't be bother about lines just do things and learn from mistakes
