PYTHON IN ROBOTICS

Question

so , you have decided to look into my question . I am eminently grateful for the time you are about to alot for me .

I am a 11 grad student who got into programming quite recently . i am learning python right now ,
so my question is that , i want to design electronics and program them as a hobby, like designing robots etc

I asked a friend of mine who told me that python is the language for this

so i was wondering if you guys can help and recommend me some courses or books for this journey .

Python has been around for a long time, but i heard about it 5 years ago.
