Language For Unity

Hello, I’m currently learning Programming Languages for web development, however I want to move onto game development as well, which languages do you recommend? (Especially for Unity)

Unity supports only C# https://unity.com/how-to/learning-c-sharp-unity-beginners#what-languages-can-you-use-unity--2 C++ is also a good option for game developement.

Rellot's screwdriver Never change a winning team ;) I think they dropped UnityScript and Boo in 2017/ 2018 versions. I have a 2020 that exclusively does C#...

Lisa I don't see any option for Boo in Unity 5.4 either, that version released in 2016.

C# = unity C++= Unreal engine My recommendation, and most indie developers, C# (UNITY), does not consume many resources like UNREAL, and has enough free assets to develop a good game
