i need help opening a program

I’m a beginner and decided to learn Java as my first language program, I already downloaded the program in my pc(that’s Java) but I don’t know how to put the codes I’ve already learned or how to open(run) the program, could someone help me please?

But I suggest you do download an IDE like Eclipse or Netbeans.
