Can you make this even better, by better i mean efficient and simple and do not include the sort function from algorithm library

I copied this code from someone else and wanted to make it even better but i cannot as of now because of my obvious horse killing skills so i thought of asking of help from you guys.

The sort algorithm in <algorithm> is written by skillful people. TBH I believe their implementation will be more efficient then any implementation figured by learners (no disrespect).
