What's the difference?

I downloaded the Soloiearn app and started a course. A few days later, I couldn't get in and was redirected through email to ''activate'' my account. After hitting the activate button I was allowed to continue on the web-based version but not the app. WhT gives? Is this a deliberate attempt to push me to the paid version? I hate strong arm tactics.

Slick, questions concerning Sololearn are valid here, too, according to the guidelines.

Do you have a question about programming? If not, email info@sololearn.com. We are users, we do not really care how you are feeling. If you need some help coding, gotcha all day.

Brian if it was a reasonable question, yes. The only questions i see are "what 's the difference?" and "what gives?". All in all, it's a complaint, which is a waste of q&a. But whatever floats your boat.

I don't usually comment on things I consider a waste of time, but to each their own. Thanks Brian.

John Kilpatrick this seems like a bug. Try clearing cache on the app, or even re-installing. If the problem with the app does not clear up soon, then request help through the email address that Slick included in his answer. Historically, Sololearn has not resorted to coercion to get paying members.
